"Dr. Greg" Mlynarczyk
Our mission is to provide quality dental care in an atmosphere of trust. We believe in and enjoy what we are doing, and thoroughly enjoy our patients and families. With integrity and good intent, we want to provide results that you value. We hope you always feel comfortable to communicate your wants & needs openly with myself or any of our staff members. Our committment is to actively listen to you, and with teamwork between you, our talented staff, and myself, achieve the goals you have for your smile and your health.
Originally from Las Vegas, I left the desert and received a great undergraduate education at the University of Oregon with a major in biology, particularly enjoying research. At the University of Southern California School of Dentistry from which I graduated in 1973, Rex Ingraham, Gordon Christensen and other faculty of international excellence were great inspiration to always continue to learn. Recently appointed by USC President Steven Sample, Avishi Sadan, DMD, is the new dean of the dental school with specialties in prosthodontics and implants. USC continues its leadership role in excellent clinical skills and community oral health care. Our dental team frequently takes classes at the semi-annual state dental conventions, through our local dental society & hygiene association, at the ADA conventions, and when possible, also attend USC Dental School seminars.
My professional associations are with the:
- American Dental Association
- California Dental Association, and the
- Redwood Empire Dental Society
It was a privilege to serve on the Peer Review Board of the Redwood Empire Dental Society for many years, and to have exhibited at the ADA national convention and the New York Academy of Sciences. In addition, it has been an honor to be a presenter at the American Society of Human Genetics national convention and to be published in the Journal of Oral Medicine, Oral Pathology and Oral Surgery. The research and findings we discovered have been duplicated and referenced in numerous professional journals and texts.
Currently I am on the national Professional Advisory Board of the Tuberous Sclerosis Alliance and have participated in research conferences throughout the country. Locally I served on the board of Becoming Independent, as well as the North Bay Regional Center for Developmental Disabilities, for a number of years.
My free time includes scuba diving, body-surfing, cross-country skiing, traveling and being a loyal fan of USC Trojan football. I have been a member of the Sonoma County Trailblazers since 1989, and enjoy the camaraderie of this group for a week out on the trail every year. My wife, Laura, and I are members of Wild Oak Saddle Club and Fountaingrove Athletic Club. Music is also of great importance to our family life and to our dental team. We support the Green Music Center & Festival at Sonoma State University and hope that as the center is constructed, the community will appreciate what a wonderful gift this is to our spectacular wine country.
